His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 60.01(7)* of the Customs Tariff**, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations prescribing agricultural goods in respect of any country for the purpose of imposing a safeguard surtax, 1995-2, effective August 1, 1995.*S.C. 1994, c. 47, s. 83**R.S., c. 41 (3rd Supp.)Short Title

1These Regulations may be cited as the Safeguard Surtax Regulations, 1995-2.

Goods Subject to Safeguard Surtax

2For the purposes of section 68 of the Customs Tariff, the following agricultural goods, classified under the tariff item numbers that follow them, are prescribed in respect of any country:(a)cream (0401.30.10, 0401.30.20);(b)powdered whey (0404.10.21, 0404.10.22); and(c)butter and other fats and oils derived from milk (0405.10.10, 0405.10.20, 0405.90.10, 0405.90.20).SOR/98-28, s. 24
