His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to paragraph 35(2)(b) of the Customs Tariff*, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order respecting the reduction of the rate of customs duty set out in the General Preferential Tariff in Schedule I to the Customs Tariff.*R.S., c. 41 (3rd Supp.)Short Title

1This Order may be cited as the General Preferential Tariff Reduction Order, No. 1.

2Schedule I to the Customs Tariff is amended in the manner set out in the schedule.

SCHEDULE(Section 2)

1Schedule I to the Customs Tariff is amended by revoking the rate of customs duty set out under the heading “General Preferential Tariff” and substituting therefor the rate of customs duty “Free” in each of the following tariff item Nos.:2918.13.902918.14.002918.16.202918.17.002918.22.902918.23.002918.29.002918.90.00

2Schedule I to the English version of the said Act is further amended by revoking the rate of customs duty set out under the heading “General Preferential Tariff” in tariff item No. 2918.11.20 and substituting therefor the rate of customs duty “Free”.
