Whereas the Governor in Council, pursuant to subsection 101(6)* of the Financial Administration Act, is satisfied that Theratronics International Limited, as a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act**, is empowered to procure the incorporation of a corporation and to hold and acquire the shares thereof;*S.C. 1984, c. 31, s. 11**S.C. 1974-75-76, c. 33(E); S.C. 1978-79, c. 9, ss. 1(F)Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraphs 101(1)(a)* and (b)* of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order authorizing Theratronics International Limited to incorporate a corporation and to hold and acquire shares thereof.Short Title

1This Order may be cited as the Theratronics International Limited Authorization Order, 1988.

Authorized Transactions

2Theratronics International Limited is hereby authorized(a)to procure the incorporation of a corporation all the shares of which, on incorporation, will be held by, on behalf of or in trust for Theratronics International Limited; and(b)to acquire shares of the corporation that, on acquisition, will be held by, on behalf of or in trust for Theratronics International Limited.
