Application

2(1)These Regulations apply in respect of parking services provided by the Minister of Transport in an area accessible to the public at an airport that is operated by the Minister and set out in the schedule.(2)These Regulations do not apply(a)to a member of the Senate for the parking of the member’s vehicle at the airport serving the city, town or municipality where the member resides in areas identified by the Minister of Transport for such parking; and(b)to a member of the House of Commons for the parking of the member’s vehicle at the airport serving his or her electoral district in areas identified by the Minister of Transport for such parking.SOR/96-79, s. 1; SOR/2012-102, s. 3

3The user of a parking service set out in Column 1 of the schedule, at the airport set out in Column 2, must pay the charge set out in Column 3.SOR/94-192, s. 1; SOR/2012-102, s. 3

4The charge referred to in section 3 must be paid(a)where a metered parking space is used, at the commencement of the use of the parking service; and(b)where other than a metered parking space is used, at the commencement or termination of use of the parking service as indicated by a public notice posted at the entrance to the parking lot or structure.
