Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 115 of the Customs Tariffa, hereby makes the annexed Orion Bus Industries Ltd. Remission Order.aS.C. 1997, c. 36Remission

1Subject to section 2, remission is hereby granted to Orion Bus Industries Ltd. of Mississauga, Ontario, in the amount of $993,907.56 representing the customs duties paid or payable under the Customs Tariff on buses imported during the period commencing on August 1, 1996, and ending on December 31, 1997.

Conditions

2The remission is granted pursuant to section 1 on condition that a claim for remission is made to the Minister of National Revenue within two years after the date on which this Order comes into force.

Coming into Force

3This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
