His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Treasury Board, pursuant to subsection 2(2) of the Airport Transfer (Miscellaneous Matters) Acta, hereby designatesS.C. 1992, c. 5the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport Authority as a designated airport authority; andthe day immediately following the closing date as defined in the Agreement to Transfer entered into under the authority of Order in Council P.C. 1996-1390 of August 28, 1996, as the transfer date for the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport to the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport Authority.
