His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, is pleased hereby to transfer to the Department of Agriculture the control and supervision of the following portions of the public service, namely(a)that portion of the Food Products Branch of the Department of Industry, Science and Technology relating to agri-food processing and manufacturing; and(b)that portion of the Food Division of the Consumer Products Branch of the Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs relating to agri-food and labelling.
