Whereas the Governor General in Council is satisfied that the public lands described in Schedules I and II hereto are required for wildlife research, conservation or interpretation.Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to subsection 4(1) of the Canada Wildlife Act, is pleased hereby to assign to the Minister of the Environment the administration, management and control of the public lands described in Schedule I hereto and, in substitution for the lands in Saskatchewan described in subitem 2(2) of Part VI of the schedule to Order in Council P.C. 1978-1439 of 27th April, 1978*, the lands described in Schedule II hereto.SOR/78-408, 1978 Canada Gazette Part II, p. 2162Nova ScotiaWallace Bay National Wildlife AreaAll those parcels of land, in the county of Cumberland, bordered by a heavy line according to plan 66185 in the Canada Lands Surveys Records at Ottawa; said parcels containing together about 583 hectares (1,440 acres).New BrunswickShepody National Wildlife AreaIn the County of Albert,In the Parish of Harvey,Germantown Marsh UnitAll those parcels of land, shown bounded by a heavy line on Plan 66082 recorded in the Canada Lands Surveys Records at Ottawa;said parcels containing together about 696 hectares (1,720 acres).Mary’s Point UnitAll those parcels of land more particularly described under Firstly to Ninthly as follows:Firstly, those two parcels described in a deed between George F., Hazel C., and Hugh M.
