Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, effective November 30, 2017,(a)pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition department in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Acta, designates the Department of Indigenous Services Canada as a department for the purposes of that Act; andaS.C. 2003, c. 22, ss. 12 and 13(b)pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition deputy head in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Acta, designates the Deputy Minister of the Department of Indigenous Services Canada as the deputy head of that entity for the purposes of that Act.
