Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby(a)pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition department in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Acta, designates the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists as a department for the purposes of that Act, and(b)pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition deputy head in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Acta, designates the Registrar of the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists as the deputy head of that office for the purposes of that Act,effective February 6, 2006.aS.C. 2003, c. 22, ss. 12, 13
