Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby(a)pursuant to paragraph (b)a of the definition department in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act, designates the Internal Inquiry into the Actions of Canadian Officials in Relation to Abdullah Almalki, Ahmad Abou-Elmaati and Muayyed Nureddin as a department for the purposes of that Act; and(b)pursuant to paragraph (b)b of the definition appropriate Minister in section 2 of that Act, designates the Prime Minister as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Inquiry referred to in paragraph (a).aS.C. 1992, c. 1, s. 69(3)bS.C. 1992, c. 1, s. 69(1)SI/2006-144, err.(F), Vol. 141, No. 2.
