Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that it is in the public interest to do so, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 23(2)a of the Financial Administration Act, hereby remits to Valley Gospel Mission the amount of $1,232.60 being tax paid under Division II of Part IX of the Excise Tax Act and related interest in respect of the sale of religious books during the period beginning on April 1, 1997 and ending on September 30, 2001.aS.C. 1991, c. 24, s. 7(2)
