and</Text></Paragraph><Paragraph lims:inforce-start-date="2006-07-12" lims:fid="612175" lims:id="612175"><Label>(c)</Label><Text>fees incurred for emergency hospitalization or emergency medical care of Canadian citizens.</Text></Paragraph></Subsection><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-07-12" lims:fid="612176" lims:id="612176"><Label>(2)</Label><Text>Subsection (1) does not apply to the portion of costs covered by insurance, public health or any other source of indemnification.</Text></Subsection></Section><Section lims:inforce-start-date="2006-07-12" lims:lastAmendedDate="2006-07-12" lims:fid="612177" lims:id="612177"><Label>2</Label><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-07-12" lims:fid="612178" lims:id="612178"><Label>(1)</Label><Text>Remission is hereby granted of the fee — paid or payable — under section 4 of the <XRefExternal reference-type="regulation" link="SOR-95-538">Consular Services Fees Regulations</XRefExternal> and the fees — paid or payable — set out in the schedule to the <XRefExternal reference-type="regulation" link="C.R.C.,_c._719">Passport Services Fees Regulations</XRefExternal>, and, any interest payable on those fees, to Canadian victims of the tsunami disaster of December 26, 2004 who applied for a passport as a result of that disaster.</Text></Subsection><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-07-12" lims:fid="612179" lims:id="612179"><Label>(2)</Label><Text>Subsection (1) does not apply to passport services fees that are reimbursable under the <XRefExternal reference-type="regulation" link="SOR-98-127">Repayment of Receipts Regulations, 1997</XRefExternal> to destitute persons.</Text></Subsection></Section><Heading lims:inforce-start-date="2006-07-12" lims:fid="612180" lims:id="612180" level="1"><TitleText>Condition</TitleText></Heading><Section lims:inforce-start-date="2006-07-12" lims:lastAmendedDate="2006-07-12" lims:fid="612181" lims:id="612181"><Label>3</Label><Text>Remission is granted on condition that the claimant provides, before December 26, 2006, an official document to the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade evidencing either the claimant’s payment of the fees or costs or the claimant’s indebtedness for them.</Text></Section></Body></Regulation>
