Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers from the Department of Transport to the Department of the Environment the control and supervision of that portion of the public service in the Department of Transport, known as the Crown Corporation Secretariat, relating to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Canada Lands Company Limited and Queens Quay West Land Corporation, effective January 24, 2004.
