Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby(a)pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, transfers from the Minister of Industry to the Minister of State to be styled Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec and Minister responsible for the Francophonie control and supervision of the portion of the public service known as the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, and(b)orders that the Minister of State to be styled Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec and Minister responsible for the Francophonie shall preside over the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec,effective July 20, 2004.
