Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers to the Department of International Trade, effective December 12, 2003, the control and supervision of the following portions of the public service in the Department of Industry:(a)Investment Partnerships Canada;(b)the Trade Integration Directorate;(c)the International Business Opportunities Centre, within the Industry Sectors Branch;(d)those portions of the Operations Branch known as International Trade Centres; and(e)those portions of the International Trade and Investment Policy Branch known as the Industrial Trade Policy Division and the investment portions of the International Investment and Services Division, except for those portions related to the administration of the Investment Canada Act.
