Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and the Treasury Board, considering it is in the public interest to do so, hereby remits to the province of Manitoba, pursuant to subsection 23(2.1) of the Financial Administration Act, any interest accrued until March 31, 2002 on the federal share of the Gross Revenue Insurance Plan Account for the Province of Manitoba.
