1This Order may be cited as the Food and Agricultural Organization Remission Order.

Free Entry, Refund or Remission

2Authority is hereby granted, effective January 2, 1952, for free entry, refund or remission of the following customs duties, including the consumption or sales tax, and the excise tax where applicable imposed under the Customs Tariff and the Excise Tax Act on printed matter, official publications, films and sound recordings of all kinds, and articles and materials used in production of any of the foregoing, when imported into Canada or purchased therein, either for use, sale or free distribution, by the Food and Agricultural Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations, subject to compliance with the conditions and procedures set out in the schedule.
